Wholesale Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to business purchases from Corkbark UK through our wholesale portal, by email or through another agreed ordering method.

We will review the requested order before issuing a quotation, pro forma invoice or payment request. We aim to respond within one working day, although this is not guaranteed.

1. Order Requests

All orders submitted via the Wholesale Order Request form are requests only and do not constitute a confirmed order. A member of our team will contact you to confirm product availability, agree quantities, and provide a formal invoice before any payment is taken.

2. Pricing

All wholesale prices are quoted excluding VAT. VAT will be applied at the prevailing UK rate and shown separately on your invoice. Prices are subject to change without notice. 

3. Minimum Orders

Cork bark is available as flats, tubes, branches and pieces. Cork granules may be combined with these products.

The minimum combined order for cork bark and granules is 50kg, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Quantities are normally requested in 5kg increments per product type. Other quantities may be considered on request.

The 5kg increment is an ordering quantity, not a commitment to supply separate 5kg packages. Orders are packed appropriately for the total quantity supplied.

Cork bark and granules are sold by net product weight, excluding packaging. The number of individual cork pieces supplied will vary.

Cork tiles are sold individually by piece. Where tiles are ordered alongside cork bark or granules, the bark and granules portion must still meet the 50kg minimum unless otherwise agreed.

4. Delivery

Delivery costs are not included in wholesale pricing and will be calculated based on your order weight, volume, and delivery location. Delivery costs will be confirmed and added to your invoice before payment is requested.

Wholesale orders are typically dispatched within 3 weeks of order confirmation. Orders may arrive in more than one package or consignment.

A requested delivery date is not guaranteed unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date in writing.

You must provide an accurate delivery address, contact details and any relevant access restrictions before accepting the quotation. Pallet or specialist delivery arrangements, including unloading requirements, will be agreed in advance.

If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient or undisclosed access restriction attributable to you, we may charge reasonable additional costs actually incurred for storage, return or redelivery. 

5. Payment

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless a credit account has been agreed in writing. We reserve the right to withhold dispatch until payment is received in full.

6. Natural Product Variation

Cork bark and cork products are natural materials. Colour, texture, shape, and size will vary between batches and individual pieces. Photographs are representative only. Natural variation is not considered a defect and does not constitute grounds for return or refund.

Exact dimensions, internal diameters, uniform shapes and a particular number of pieces per kilogram are not guaranteed.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Orders may not be cancelled once a formal invoice has been issued and accepted. Returns are not accepted for natural cork products unless goods are proven to be materially defective. Any claims must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Account Access

Wholesale pricing and order request forms are available to approved wholesale accounts only. Access may be revoked at any time at our discretion.
