Our 1L Biochar is a natural, carbon-rich soil improver designed for mixing with compost and growing media. Its highly porous structure helps create a healthier growing environment by improving water and nutrient retention, supporting beneficial soil microorganisms and improving soil structure.

How to Use

Our Biochar is supplied uncharged. Before use, thoroughly soak it in water to charge it. It can also be combined with mature compost or an appropriate nutrient-rich solution.

As a general guide, mix the 1L bag of charged Biochar with approximately 10L of compost or growing medium and distribute evenly.

Biochar is a soil improver, not a fertiliser, and should be mixed with soil or compost rather than used as a growing medium on its own.
