Coconut Coir Fibre (peat-free)
Our Coconut Coir Fibre is a natural, peat-free material made from coconut husk. Lightweight and highly absorbent, it helps retain moisture while creating a natural-looking environment.
It’s an ideal choice for terrariums and vivariums, where it can be used as a substrate or as part of a substrate mix. Its moisture-retaining properties make it particularly useful for humid environments and bioactive setups.
Coconut coir is also widely used in horticulture and growing, either on its own or blended with other growing media to help retain moisture and support healthy root environments.
Ideal for:
- Terrariums & vivariums
- Bioactive setups
- Reptile & invertebrate enclosures
- Planted terrariums
- Houseplants & growing
- Mixing with other substrates
- Natural displays & landscaping
Please note: Different reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates have different substrate requirements. Always check the requirements of the species being kept.
